Over a decade ago when I had injuries to the top and bottom of my spine, Qigong (chi gung) and Feldenkrais supported my healing. I continue to do both to maintain my health and back comfort. While giving individual Feldenkrais lessons, I often include qigong exercises to enhance a client’s learning and function.
The human body is a small chi field; nature, the earth and the universe are a large chi field. A balance is required between these to live a healthy and long life. Qigong exercises energize you and improve immune functions. They help you deepen your connection to yourself, your inner beauty, peace and wisdom. Qigong gives potency to Feldenkrais and Feldenkrais improves fluidity, range and attention in qigong. Both help you access your internal power and authority.
A HEALTHY BACK moves naturally, giving you the ability to go in any direction from a multitude of positions. When there is freedom of movement between all vertebrae and your spine is aligned, you can sit and stand comfortably, work effectively and reduce body tension and pain. A supportive back helps maintain organ health. Learn to move with power, precision and grace.
I invite you to join me and a small group beside beautiful Tomales Bay in early springtime to rest and energize your back and spine. This retreat is open to all levels of experience. Bring a friend!

Dates: March 30 – April 1, 2012, Friday afternoon ’til Sunday afternoon
Location: Marconi Conference Center, Tomales Bay
Registration & Cost: $595 by Jan. 28
SUPER EARLY REGISTRATION: $545 by Nov. 30
Bonus: Complementary individual Feldenkrais lesson (during Retreat) for first three registrants.
Above fees include three healthy meals/day and room shared with one other person. Add $185 for single room and indicate “single room” on application.
