Feldenkrais retrains the nervous system through gentle movement exploration, creating new physical and mental habits. Students increase coordination, range of motion, mental function, and lengthen the spine. They reduce stress and pain, recover from injury and refine their sport or art, often realizing changes they had not imagined. Exercises are done sitting and lying down.
My first exposure to the Feldenkrais Method® was in a class. After class, not only did my shoulder lay fully on the floor, but it was clear that this is a place where I am the authority in this body! This basis of the method attracted me to study four years to be a Feldenkrais Practitioner. The improvement I see in my students’ lives inspires me to share this work with you.
